Sandakan – Sepilok – Sukau Rainforest Lodge

Arrive Sandakan by morning flight and transfer to Sepilok for birdwatching in the morning with a chance of encounter with Orang Utan feeding and brief visit to Sun Bear Conservation Centre. At noon, we depart to Sukau on a 2.5 hr boat journey on Sabah’s longest river, the Kinabatangan. Brief stops along the way when there are bird and wildlife sightings. Lower Kinabatangan is home to 210 species of birds. Check into the award winning Sukau Rainforest Lodge. Join an afternoon cruise for bird watching.
